The natural evolution of our high-end aerodynamic product used by professionals.
Filante SLR is an extremely light aero bike, which significantly improves the stiffness to weight ratio. We used the same materials and technology used in the construction of Wilier 0 SLR.
The result is a top-of-the-range, aerodynamic frameset that sits alongside our pure climbing bike now used by Astana Qazaqstan Team.

Aerodynamics
Filante SLR was designed to give maximum aerodynamic performance in real environmental conditions. The study was based on data collected in the wind tunnel (where the wind is very clean for homogeneous empirical results) also taking into consideration the real world. In doing so we do not only evaluate the typical data of the wind tunnel (yaw angles from -20° to + 20°) but we also consider the turbulence of the environment that interfere with the bike for the most different reasons.
For this reason we have redesigned the profiles, starting from the NACA / KAMM standard but no longer with sharply cut edges on the rear. Softened corners therefore, which allow for better performance even when the air flow is disturbed.
The inside of the front fork has been widened by 7mm, making it 13.6% wider than the Cento10PRO fork. This has moved the fork blades away from the wheel, reducing turbulence and improving aerodynamics.
240 Fittings available
With the fork steerer no longer beveled we can install up to 35mm of spacers under the handlebar. By combining frame measurements, handlebar measurements and spacers we can thus obtain 240 different fittings, without any overlap between one combination and another. This figure doubles if we consider the two available seat posts, with 15mm or 0mm setback.
Extremely light and responsive
The new aerodynamically optimized profiles have allowed us to save even more weight in the construction of the frame. The shape without sharp edges requires less material and less resin in the corners. This makes the interior more homogeneous and allows the weight of the frame to stop the scale at 870 grams. The bike assembled with top-of-the-range specifications weighs 6.8 KG.
The carbon used to build the Filante monocoque is the same as the Wilier 0 SLR. Thanks to the different types of carbon used together with the Liquid Cristal Polymer, the particular positioning of the fibers and the construction technology we have managed to achieve a level of lightness and rigidity of absolute level.
The lower overall weight in relation to the extremely high level of torsional rigidity has increased the STW by 12.5%. This improvement is clearly perceived in the steering precision and the feeling of safety that you have at high speeds.
Integrated handlebar and cables
In addition to its low weight (350 grams for the 101x42 size), the new integrated Filante Bar monocoque carbon handlebar houses the brake and control cables inside, directing them inside the frame. It has an essential design, with sinuous and rounded lines to ensure maximum ergonomics in the grip.
Balanced Design
Six sizes, one feel. The tube sections in the various sizes are designed so that stiffness, ride quality and comfort are the same on each different frame size.
Easy-fit spacers
The spacers between the frame's head tube and the handlebars are made of high-rigidity composite material, with a special cavity dedicated to the passage of cables. They are composed of two parts so as to allow rapid assembly and disassembly, without interfering with the cables that run between the handlebars and the frame.
Speed Release Thru Axles
These pins allow for quick removal of the wheel from the frame without having to completely remove the pin from the wheel hub. This solution significantly reduces wheel removal and housing times. In a race, a wheel change saves an average of 7 seconds compared to a traditional thru-axle.

SHIPPING AND BILLING ADDRESS
During the purchase process you will have the option to have your purchases shipped to an address other than your residence and to differentiate the shipping address and the billing address.
SHIPMENT TRACKING
You will be provided with the tracking number of the shipment via email and you will then be able to follow the shipping status of the goods and know the expected day of delivery.
STREET FRONT DELIVERY
Please note that delivery takes place on the street, the recipient must therefore organize the receipt of the goods and their transfer to the destination premises. It is not currently possible to manage delivery to the floor or delivery by appointment, in case of specific needs, contact us before purchasing.
In the absence of a person authorised to collect the goods (buyer, family member, trusted person, doorman), the goods cannot be delivered and any storage costs will be at your expense.

It is advisable to keep the bike box for a possible return. Delivery times for complete bicycles may be longer than usual due to assembly, registration, testing and adequate packaging.

SHIPPING TIME ESTIMATE
Shipping takes place approximately within 24/48 working hours from the payment of the order. The orders with the fastest delivery are those made with online payment PayPal and Credit Cards. For orders with deferred payment, such as bank transfer, the shipping date may vary by a few days, as these orders are processed upon receipt of payment confirmation.
During holiday periods (August and Christmas period), order processing may be slower.
