HISTORY
It all started in Slovakia more than 25 years ago when the founders of Kellys, two young brothers - Peter and Brano Divinec, spent countless hours riding their bikes through the beautiful Slovakian mountains. Traveling the endless wild paths, they experienced THE TASTE OF TRUE FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE. The taste that every human being, every living being desires since its birth. They already knew that a bicycle gave them this opportunity.
The founders of Kellys understood that a bicycle is a significant element in their life and without it they could not feel whole. They wanted to share their experience with other people, to make them feel the same way. They wanted to give others what they know best: a bicycle.
Designing and manufacturing a bicycle is not just about joining mechanical elements. It's something more. What matters is the purpose for which a bicycle is created, because it has a unique mission to fulfill in the life of every human being. This mission gives every Kellys bike the meaning of its existence.

The company started with a modest bicycle rental garage, but the Divinec brothers had an idea of bicycle manufacturing from the very beginning. Since then, thanks to the great involvement and determination of its founders, Kellys has grown. It only took two years from the start to reach a turnover of 30,000 bikes sold. Nowadays, KELLYS EXPORTS BIKES TO MORE THAN 35 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE and becomes a recognizable bike brand with THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF BIKES SOLD .

The R&D department is a place, where THE MISSION IDEA TAKES ITS PHYSICAL FORM through modern and unique design means. The design that embodies the Kelly philosophy, intelligent engineering, materials and modern technologies. Kelly's R&D department is a team of people who are passionate about bicycle engineering, but above all they are active cyclists, who know best what cyclists need from a bicycle and accessories.
